Personal Identity: Part Four - Typography Time

Now I am satisfied I have taken my scans and experiments as far as I can take them I now want to focus on the illustrations that will be developed on top of those background pieces.

For the text I wanted to look at the my personal reflections on the reactions that I get regarding my tattoos. With tattoos you accept that there will be people that don't like them and that will have presumptions on who you are, what you do and what you're like. I get a lot of "looks" and remarks from people. I want my illustrations to be both visually pleasing but also I want to get reactions out of people and make them think. I want to make a statement about pre conceptions and tattoos.

I'm not a deviant. Why do people judge me? They've probably done more things wrong in their life than I have. I'm a good person... So don't judge me. Yes, I will be old and with tattoos, so what? I'll still be me? What will I do when I'm old and tattooed? Be fucking fabulous, duh.

I looked at different fonts as research to see what grabbed my eyes and inspired me. I also looked out for fonts that I felt would be link to tattoos, my personality and the messages I want to get across too.
